Where are meetings held?

In our brand new offices in Swindon. When we can, we much prefer to meet our clients face to face at our comfortable offices which have plenty of meeting rooms.

Do I have to pay for an initial meeting?

No. We offer an initial consultation in our offices at no cost to you. We’ll take the time to listen to you carefully, so that we can help you to achieve the future you want.

What do I need to bring to an initial meeting?

When we speak to you to understand the nature of your enquiry, we will inform you of what to bring. Typically, we’ll need: identification and a breakdown of your income, expenditure, assets and liabilities.

Also, it’s really helpful to see a list of questions written down, along with your goals separated into short, medium and long-term time horizons.

How long should I allow for an initial meeting?

90 minutes to two hours is usually sufficient. We have a very good drinks menu and toilets if needed!

Do I have to sign up to your services at an initial meeting?

Absolutely not. We never rush a client. We want you to have time to consider if we are the right fit for you.

Are you independent?

Yes, we’re 100% independent. We never allow providers to influence us and have both a strong ethical stance and high morals.

Faq 9.

Are you regulated?

Absolutely. We are directly authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). We are qualified to advise on all areas of financial planning and in addition to this, we have excellent technical knowledge, so you know you are dealing with an experienced adviser for your circumstances. Faq 10.

Can you advise on Final Salary/Defined Benefit transfers?

We hold the qualifications necessary for advice in this area and are authorised by the FCA to do so.

Faq 11.

What happens if my Financial Planner is away on holiday?

We have an office-based team that is capable of handling any absences. Even if your adviser is not present, then another member of the team will be able to assist with minimal disruption to you.

Faq 12.

What do you charge for a financial plan?

We provide detailed financial planning, which is bespoke to each client because your circumstances and goals will vary to another person’s. At an initial consultation, we will learn more of your current situation, your aspirations and current arrangements then be able to explain to you the cost for our services if we can add value. Until we know the level of work involved, we do not know the cost, which is why we do not charge for an initial consultation. For more information, please see our ‘How we charge’ page.

Faq 13.

Do you take a percentage or are your fees fixed?

Our fees are always transparent and explained in detail to you first. Our initial fees are fixed so you know if we work together what the cost will be.

Faq 14.

Do you get commission?

Across investments and pensions, we do not receive commission and are remunerated only by the client. This helps to give reassurance to our clients that we are acting only in their best interests.

Do you charge VAT?

No, we do not charge VAT.

Do you have disabled access?

Yes, we are happy to facilitate meetings for clients and have a large downstairs area with several meeting rooms.

Can you meet remotely?

Yes, we embrace technology within our business and use video conferencing. While technology brings many benefits to our lives, we will always be a firm where you can be assured that a human being will be at the end of the phone and happy to talk with you.

Where do your clients reside?

We enjoy working with clients from all walks of life and they reside both near and far; some overseas.

Faq 19.

Is my information secure?

We abide by GDPR regulations and have a valid licence with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). We encrypt our information so you know your information is secure with us. We also hold the Cyber Essentials Certificate.

Faq 20.

Are you child-friendly and pet-friendly?

Yes, we have colouring books, guest wi-fi for tablets and we love well behaved animals!

Who do you work with best?

We enjoy long-term relationships with people who are happy to work with experts, understand that returns cannot be guaranteed, want to live their best future because life is not a rehearsal, and are nice to work with.

Faq 22.

Are meetings recorded?

Yes, we record all calls and meetings for our clients for protection and to ensure we do not miss anything in accordance with data protection requirements. If we do not continue to work together, then rest assured that your information is deleted.

When are you open?

We are open Monday to Thursday between 9 – 5.30pm, Friday 9 – 5pm and Saturday 9 – 3.30pm.
