In your latest Future Planning team update, we have news of new starters and leavers, a look back at our Christmas party and exciting office updates. There’s also news about our latest charity fundraising efforts.
We begin with comings and goings…
One leaver and three new members of the team
Back in December, client services executive Edi left Future with our best wishes. Edi will be missed by all the team and we wish him well for the next stage of his career.
Stepping into his shoes is Tyrone, who started with us back in January. Tyrone is joined by Jessi, who has taken up the role of business and project assistant.
Jessi will be helping Ana as Ana’s role continues to expand.
We’re always keen to support and nurture new talent and Drew has also joined the team as our newest apprentice. You can hear more from Drew at Total Swindon in an interview as part of that website’s coverage for National Apprentice Week.
A Christmas celebration and a send-off for Edi
Back in December, the Future Planning family went out for Christmas dinner and drinks, combining our festive do with a leaving party for Edi.
Everyone had a great night and Edi received a brilliant send-off. We were also able to welcome Tyrone, who had yet to start with us but was able to make the party.
Following on from our fun-packed 2023, we have many more team-building events planned for 2024 so stay tuned for all the latest.
The sky’s the limit for our charity fundraising efforts
You might have read back in September that three members of the Future Planning team took part in a triathlon to raise money for our charity partner, Prospect Hospice.
Now, Ana and Jessi have decided to take on another terrifying challenge, again for Prospect Hospice.
The intrepid pair will be skydiving for charity on 21 April. I’m sure you’ll join the whole team in wishing Ana and Jessi all the best. If you’d like to get involved and sponsor them in their efforts, helping to raise money for a great cause, you can. Simply visit their Just Giving page, for all the information you need.
Ana and Jessi are over the moon with the support received so far. In Jessi’s words, “Every donation, no matter how small, is like a warm hug!”
A brand new office
Finally, while the announcement was made on social media last month, we’re proud and extremely excited to officially open our brand-new office.
Situated on Commercial Road in Swindon town centre, the new office will focus on the mortgage side of our business. After an extensive refurbishment, the space soft-opened in January and is now in full swing.
Future Planning might now be in two places, but we’re still one team, so be sure to get in touch. We’re always on hand to help!
