In your Future Planning team update this time: Part 2 of our year in review!
We have news of an exciting office move, more team-building fun featuring rock climbing and a trip to Watley Manor, and all the gossip from the summer’s My Dad is Bigger than Your Dad Festival.
And so, without further ado…
The office has moved, but you still know where to find great service from our team of finance professionals
After months of preparation, at the end of July, the Future Planning team tidied their desks and boxed their files for the final time before our big office move.
Our sparkling new office features brand new furniture and new TVs to replace our previous setup, which had begun to look dated.
We’re now closer to Swindon town centre, within easy reach for current and new clients. We might have moved premises but we’re still on hand to provide the same expert and professional service, here to help you answer all your financial questions.
So, why not pop in for a cuppa? You’ll get to check out the new office and speak to us about any money worries you have.
Future Planning celebrates 4 years as sponsor of the My Dad is Bigger than Your Dad festival
For the last four years, Future Planning has been a proud sponsor of the My Dad is Bigger than Your Dad Festival, which raises money for Prospect Hospice.
This year, the event returned bigger and better than ever, and – unlike last year – the rain stayed away!
With around 900 people attending, the event raised around £10,000 for a cause close to everyone’s heart. That takes the total raised over the last four years to more than £40,000.
The line-up was incredible and it was great to catch up with many of our clients enjoying the music and the sunshine too. Beloved by the whole community it’s an event that’s firmly in all of our calendars for next year, and for many years to come.
Team news as Anil and Jessi leave with our best wishes and good luck for the future
In some sad, but exciting team news, we can announce that Anil and Jessi have both left Future Planning, after years of incredible service.
They go with our best wishes and a huge thank you for all of their hard work. We wish them both all the best for the exciting next chapter in their careers.
Team building events from rock climbing to Watley Manor
You might have read recently about our team social to Barcelona. But that hasn’t been our only team-building event this year.
From escape rooms to paddleboarding to rock climbing, we’re always looking for ways to challenge ourselves. At the same time, these events help us to improve our teamwork, and by extension, they help you too!
Rock climbing was a great way to build trust. Belaying for each other meant we had each other’s safety literally in our hands.
Our time spent at Watley Manor, meanwhile, involved learning about what goes into great customer service. From the luxury spa to the Michelin-starred dining, we all brought plenty of lessons – and full stomachs! – back to the office with us.
