Future Planning in 3 words

The three words that I would use for describing Future Planning would be supportive, efficient and, it may sound a little bit cliché, but I would also say fortune. The reason I use the word fortune is, it may be a medium fortune or a big fortune, but the word fortune resonates when I think of Future Planning because they will be looking at the potential fortune that your family can enjoy.

I got in touch with Future Planning because I was struggling to understand what the best options were available to me on the market in regards to my mortgage. But also, I got in touch with them because I have multiple pensions with different companies that I’ve been employed by and I really thought to myself there must be a better solution than having them all over the place.
My biggest worry that I had when I was looking for a financial adviser was ‘am I going to be able to retire at the age that I want to retire at?’ that was one of my first objectives that I needed to overcome.

I had spoken to many of the different retirement fund and pension companies and they were telling me that, ideally we should be looking at 65 and 70, and in the back of my mind, I’m thinking: ‘If I can start to invest in the right places now and make those savings on an annual basis then is there a way in which I could reduce that, whether that be by a couple of years or more?’.

Working with Sanjay and Sian I’ve managed to be able to reduce my mortgage quite drastically. I’ve done this by actually spreading the term slightly, albeit by only a few years extra than what I’d anticipated, but as a result of that it’s allowed me to now look at my retirement age as coming down by six to seven years, so I think the overall achievement that I’ve made from working with Sian and Sanjay has been absolutely on point of what I wanted to achieve.

I think the chance for me to retire at 60 rather than 70 is phenomenal, because I’m a young father. I’ve got four dependants and if I can actually spend more time with my son and my daughters, whether that be trips on holiday, trips to the park, playing football, at a point in my life where I’m not actually unable to make those days out, then I think for me, that’s a great achievement and certainly something that I look forward to.

Certainly, Future Planning have done nothing more than be very supportive, open my eyes wider and given me a much brighter future. I would highly recommend Future Planning to colleagues, friends and family because for me, I’m seeing the fruits of fruition, and it’s not very often that you can say that in your home town.

Future Planning are on your doorstep, so not only for the people of Swindon, but people far and wide, I think it really is worth a 5-10 minute phone call initially to then get yourself in and meet the team, because I think you would be very surprised at what they can do and help you achieve.

Best thing about Future Planning

The single best thing for me about working with Future Planning has got to be the efficiency and the personability of the team. Everybody wants to help. They don’t see you as a number or an everyday person off the street.

Would you recommend Future Planning?

I would highly recommend Future Planning to colleagues, friends and family because I’m seeing the fruits of fruition. It’s not very often that you can say in your hometown, Future Planning are on your doorstep; not only for the people of Swindon, but people far and wide. I think it really is worth a five or ten-minute phone call initially, to then get yourself in and meet the team, because I think you’ll be very surprised at what they can do and help you achieve.
