Welcome to your latest Future Planning update and the first of 2023. A very happy new year to you from the whole Future Planning team.
2022 was a busy year (read Your Future Planning Team Update: 2022 in review to see for yourself) but we still have some festive fun to fill you in on.
From the Future Planning Christmas party and some exciting team news and our sponsorship of the Westlecot Bowls Club Open Singles Tournament, keep reading for your end-of-year recap.
5 years and still going strong for mortgage adviser Sian

In our previous team update, we mentioned that Sian Hewson, our independent mortgage adviser had been with us at Future Planning for five years! But those five years only tell half the story.
As we shared on social media recently, Sian has been instrumental in shaping and growing our mortgage department during her time here. She hit the ground running on day one and hasn’t stopped since.
Sian’s extensive knowledge in her field has helped her to amass a whooping 83 verified five-star reviews on VouchedFor, with countless more on Trustpilot. She has been a top-rated adviser for the last three years.
If you have been lucky enough to speak to Sian, you will already know how bubbly and positive she is. She is also a key cog in the Future Planning machine, which is why we are taking this opportunity to offer our warmest congratulations once again on five years of service.
Here’s to the next five!
Future Planning takes to the green at a local bowls club tournament

On the weekend of Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 December, Westlecot Bowls Club held its Open Singles Tournament and Future Wealth was delighted to be sponsoring the event.
A local club that welcomes bowlers of all ages and abilities – and counts more than a few Future Planning clients among its members – it was great to be part of such a great weekend. Competitive, but played in a spirit of friendly rivalry, the current national teen champion was in attendance, alongside the current World Champion and World Number 1 Les Gillet.
On the day, the winner (for the second time) was Barry Jenkins. Barry won £1,000, which was awarded by Sanjay, with club manager Scott Edwards on hand to offer his congratulations.
Future Planning would like to thank everyone at Westlecot Bowls Club for a great weekend and for making us feel so welcome.
And finally, congratulations again to Barry.
Festive fun and cocktails for the Future Planning team

It already seems like a long time ago but the Future Planning celebrated Christmas in style. Thankfully, Sam was on hand to provide the photographic evidence by way of a series of selfies!

A festive lunch was followed by a cocktail-making course and a crunch match for England’s men at the 2022 World Cup.

These are just a few photos from a great day.
